Roll-out of RECP activities in Nigeria is progressing at a steady pace. Currently, RECP is developing a comprehensive market analysis on the Nigerian renewable energy market in general and the captive power market in particular. The study will present the general business and investment climate, the regulatory environment in Nigeria’s energy sector, the potential for renewable energy and will offer an overview on key stakeholders in the sector, while providing an in-depth analysis of the market potential in captive power. The study is expected to be publicly available early summer 2016. Additionally, RECP is proud to announce that we are in the process of signing a partnership agreement with the National Competitiveness Council of Nigeria (NCCN).The partnership with NCCN, a public-private sector non-profit organisation, will promote the use of renewable energy and support RECP’s activities in Nigeria.
