RECP has just added three more Market Briefings: Ghana, Tanzania and Zimbabwe

The market briefings provided by the RECP through its webpage, are a powerful tool for entrepreneurs, investors, researchers and project developers that look towards Africa as a viable option to develop energy related projects.

RECP is proud to announce that it has broadened its market information section, adding the market briefings of Ghana, Tanzania and Zimbabwe.

The briefings combine key energy sector statistics with concise overviews on:

  • The political and economic situation
  • The energy sector
  • The regulatory and institutional framework
  • The specific renewable energy resource potential

These web-based overviews provide renewable energy entrepreneurs with basic information on the respective market and complement the more comprehensive market studies currently under development by RECP and its partners.

With this addition 11 African countries are currently available on the RECP Website.

The EU Energy Initiative Partnership Dialogue Facility (EUEI PDF) is responsible for the implementation of the Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP). The EUEI PDF currently receives contributions from the European Commission, Austria, Finland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden.
