The Energy Access Investment Summit, organized by ARE, brought together key decision makers as well as institutional and business representatives to develop business strategies. It focused on the discussion of market conditions and key policy and financial initiatives on existing and upcoming rural electrification business opportunities in developing and emerging markets.
On day two, RECP hosted the conference’s “Business Day”, successfully bringing together African and European entrepreneurs and financiers active in the field of rural electrification. During the first part of the day, several organizations presented innovative financing instruments, approaches and modalities. Additionally remaining barriers and opportunities in financing rural electrification projects were discussed in an engaging forum session.

The event was very well received by the participants, who complimented it providing positive feedback to the organizers.
