Master’s Programme in Sustainable Energy at the National University of Lesotho

With RECP support, existing short courses on sustainable energy currently offered at NUL will be upgraded to a full-fledged Master’s programme. RECP’s support includes technical support in curriculum and syllabus development, facilitation of international university cooperation and industry involvement, and provision of learning and research facilities. Several partners are committedly supporting the educational foundation in Sustainable Energy, including a national advisory board with representatives from civil society, public and private sector, as well as an international consortium of Southern African and European universities. The Master’s program is planned to be launched in January 2018.

The EU Energy Initiative Partnership Dialogue Facility (EUEI PDF) is responsible for the implementation of the Africa-EU Renewable Energy Cooperation Programme (RECP). The EUEI PDF currently receives contributions from the European Commission, Austria, Finland, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden.
